Custom Orders
Every piece that leaves my studio starts on the wheel — and some of the best ones start with a conversation. If you have something specific in mind, I'd love to make it for you.
What I Take Custom Orders For
- Mugs & mug sets — matched sets for your kitchen, wedding gifts, or a favorite form sized just right for your hand
- Dinnerware & serving pieces — bowls, platters, and vases made to coordinate
- Lidded jars — kitchen canisters, keepsake jars, and one-of-a-kind vessels
- Ceramic accent lamps — a wheel-thrown base built around your space, glaze, and scale
- Weddings & events — favors, gifts for the wedding party, or a registry set
How It Works
- Send an inquiry using the form below — tell me what you're imagining, roughly how many pieces, and any timeline you're working with.
- We talk details. I'll follow up within a few days to discuss form, size, glaze, and pricing. I work in a curated palette of five cone 6 glazes — from a deep tenmoku to a soft white satin matte — and I'm happy to send examples.
- Deposit & making. Once we've settled on the design, a 50% deposit reserves your spot in the kiln schedule.
- Firing & delivery. Most custom work is completed in 4–8 weeks depending on complexity and kiln schedule. I'll share photos before shipping.
A Few Honest Notes
Handmade pottery has a mind of its own. No two pieces are identical, and glazes can vary slightly from firing to firing — that's the charm, not a flaw. I'll always be upfront about what's achievable before we begin.
